Just when you thought you couldn’t love Chris Martin any harder, he goes and does this.
The Coldplay frontman lead his band in belting out the classic Oasis hit, Don’t look Back in Anger, as a tribute to Ariana Grande at the Manchester One Love benefit convert.
Ariana put together the benefit after last month’s bombings right outside of her concert that left 22 dead and dozens more injured. Many may have retreated from the spotlight after something so tragic and heartbreaking, but instead the pop princess made good on her promise to help those affected by the attacks.
And Chris made sure it didn’t go unnoticed.
“We all want to say thank you, Ariana, to you for being so strong and wonderful,” said Chris as he took the stage. “You’ve been singing a lot for us so I think we of Britain want to sing for you. This is called Don’t Look Back In Anger and this is for you.”
Chris lead the 60,000 crowd in singing along with him while Ariana stood emotionally on stage. Take a look here.
Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Robbie Williams, Pharrel Williams and Miley Cyrus are some of the artists who performed on the evening to show their support for the families of the victims of the attack.
Our thoughts, prayers and love are with them also.
