Claudia Schiffer’s home is absolute perfection. The supermodel says her English mansion is haunted, but after you see it you’ll still be bright green with envy, ghosts or not.
Rest assured, she says the ghosts are friendly. “We had a medium go around, and she told us that actually all the ghosts in the house are lovely. No one needs to be scared.”
Claudia and film director husband Matthew Vaughn fell in love with this mansion as soon as they laid eyes on it. So much so, it wasn’t even for sale but they approached the owner and tried their luck. “We basically knocked on the door and said, ‘We love this place,’” she says. “They had no idea who we were or what we were doing there.”

It paid off. They moved in shortly after, got married there and now live there with their three children Caspar, 14, Clementine, 12, and Cosima, 7.
Claudia says when it comes to the styling of the house, she wants it to feel family-friendly. “We are not very formal. The whole idea of the house is that everyone can roam. I wanted it to be rustic so you felt like you could have muddy dogs running around and kids with jam on their hands.”
I’m not so sure I would let my muddy dogs run around this place…check it out.
