Okay, we must be really good friends because I am letting you in on my recipe for the peppermint bark I always give as gifts at Christmas time. It’s such a goodie. Everyone always loves it and it’s super easy to make – great for work friends, or any friends really.
x3 250g blocks of milk chocolate
x2 250g blocks of white chocolate
250g bag of candy canes, crushed
(this makes x8 small bags)
What to do:
In a medium-sized microwave-safe bowl, heat the milk chocolate in 30 second increments in the microwave until melted.
Pour the mixture into the baking tray and then add in the crushed candy canes (remembering to leave some for the white mixture still to come). Refrigerate overnight.
Now, melt the white chocolate (the same procedure as with the milk chocolate) once melted, stir the rest of the crushed candy canes. Refrigerate overnight.
In the morning, remove the bark and break into pieces and pop into cellophane gift bags and tie with twine. YUUUUM!
