Body activist and model Ashley Graham has made history as the first size 16 model to feature on the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in its 51 year history.
28-year-old Ashley joined fellow cover stars, UFC fighter Ronda Rousey – the first athlete on the cover (complete in body paint) and two-time SI model, Hailey Clauson.

The Australia’s Got Talent audition that had judges and audience in tears
14-year-old Fletcher Pilon had the judges and audience in tears during his audition on Australia’s Got Talent last night in an amazing performance in memory of his 10-year-old brother Banjo, who passed away after being hit by a car while skateboarding.
Fletcher introduced his song, Infinite Child, by saying “I’m going to play a song I’ve written for my brother, his name is Banjo and he passed away about three and a half months ago.” Watch Fletcher’s incredible performance here:
Kanye West reveals he is in $US53 million in debt
Rapper Kanye West took to Twitter AGAIN to reveal that he is currently in $53 million in debt. “I write this to you my brothers while still 53 million dollars in personal debt…Please pray we overcome…This is my true heart…”
Kanye is said to have accumulated so much debt because he personally funded his new album, The Life of Pablo and his Yeezy fashion season collections, as well as the construction of a $US14 million Bel-Air home.
Kanye has had a BIG week on Twitter, beginning with his controversial tweet stating that Bill Cosby is “innocent,” followed by his lyrics about Taylor Swift, followed up by his defence of those lyrics.
Kanye West’s new album, The Life of Pablo, is on sale today.
Deadpool enjoys record opening weekend
Ryan Reynolds had been trying to get his new film, Deadpool, up on the big screen for over 11 years and judging by the US opening weekend stats, his hard work has paid off.
The film earned a record-breaking $135 million at the box office during America’s four-day President’s weekend, seeing it set new records as the biggest opening weekend for an R-rated film, for the President’s weekend and the biggest February weekend.
Deadpool chronicles the journey of the Marvel character of the same name.
UK band Viola Beach die in car accident while on tour
All four members of British rock band Viola Beach and their manager have died after the tour vehicle they were travelling in fell 25 metres off a bridge into a canal whilst on tour in Sweden.
Metro.co.uk reported that the band had been performing at the Where’s The Music? festival prior to the tragedy on February 13.
“We can confirm that five British nationals died in car accident in Sweden on February 13,” said a spokeswoman for the UK Foreign Office.
“We are in contact with local authorities and supporting families at this very difficult time.”
It is believed that the band’s tour vehicle crashed through the bridge’s barrier that had been opened to allow access for a cargo ship. An eyewitness said the vehicle was “driving like a maniac” and travelling “at least 70-80km an hour.”
The bodies of all five men were recovered by police divers.
Christchurch hit by 5.7 magnitude earthquake
Shortly after 1pm yesterday afternoon, the New Zealand city of Christchurch was hit by an earthquake measuring 5.7 on the richter scale. A 4.0 after-shock was also felt at around 6pm.
While there was no loss of life or reported injuries from the quake, Christchurch City Council said that cliffs at Whitewash heads and Godley Heads collapsed.
Shane Warne’s daughter Brooke in hot water over distasteful Instagram pic
Brooke Warne, the 18-year-old daughter of cricketer Shane Warne, has offended many after posting a distasteful picture on Instagram of a fancy dress party where she and her friends depicted Malaysia Airlines and Holocaust victims and the death of Cecil the Lion.
In the picture which Brooke uploaded to Instagram on Saturday night, she is seen holding the mane of a toy lion with friends surrounding her. She captioned the pic, “Politically incorrect – yes #cecil #malaysianairlines #holocaust.”
The post was met with anger from fellow Instagram followers, one of them saying, “Only privileged white kids have the ability to distance themselves and mock tragic events that don’t affect them” and “Rich kid arrogance at its worse.”
