Bey and Jay take the Hamptons…

My dream has always been to have a home with an awesome pool. A simple dream really, and one that I’m working my butt off to get to one day, but in the meantime watching Beyonce and Jay-Z  living my property dreams will just have to do. The power couple have just purchased a new home for a cool US$26 million (AUS $32.9 million) in none other than East Hampton. And this joint is every shade of incredible.

Set on two acres of land, their 12,000 square foot new pad has seven bedrooms, seven FULL bathrooms and two half baths. It’s a light-filled haven with classic architecture, dual fireplaces, ridiculously gorgeous open plan kitchen and the infinity pool of my dreams. On top of all that, the home has 203 feet of water frontage on Georgia Pond and has it’s own 180o square foot guest cottage for anyone keen to have a sleepover. Better still, their neighbour is none other than Ina Garten, the Barefoot Contessa, who I’m sure will pop around with a welcome-to-the-neighbourhood feast for the family of five.

The entertainment powerhouses also got the mansion for a steal, as it was originally listed for  US$39 million. BARGAIN!
