As a kid, the voice of Queen’s lead singer, Freddie Mercury was always screaming down the hallways of my house. My Mum and Dad were both massive fans, and it didn’t take long for me to catch on. He not only fronted Queen but he also ended up fronting so much more in his very short life. Freddie died of AIDS back in 1991 but his songs and incredible pipes live on in so many of us.
You may have heard there is a movie coming out about his life called Bohemian Rhapsody later this year and while the world waits for it to hit cinemas, a few of his biggest fans took to video to celebrate him on what would have been his 72nd birthday.
Many of us didn’t know that Freddie was actually a baggage handler for British Airways at Heathrow Airport, so it’s only fitting this fabulous group of baggage handlers create one gorgeous, hilarious and much needed viral clip of the week.
If this doesn’t bring a smile to your dial, not much will. Enjoy…
And PS…here is the official trailer for the Bohemian Rhapsody movie if you want a squiz..
