Everyone loves a good adventure reality show. Shows like Survivor, I’m a Celeb and The Amazing Race have been huge for yonks and while the victories and triumphs are pretty great, let’s be honest – one of the best bits is seeing the contestants get crazy-annoyed at one another.
If I were to tell you that there was a new adventure reality show where the teams-of-two got along better than any you’d ever seen before, you’d be forgiven for thinking it sounds boring AF.
But stay with me.
A new show called The Pack looks very similar to The Amazing Race in format, but features one big twist… instead of teams of sisters or BFFs, these teams consist of one person and their very own good boy or girl. That’s people and pooches. Humans and hounds, if you prefer.
Sound dumb? Yeah, I thought so too. But then I watched the trailer and I am IN…
Amazon describes the show as follows:
‘In this global adventure, 12 teams of dogs and their human companions compete in fun and exciting challenges celebrating their incredible bond. At stake at the end of this unforgettable journey is a life-changing prize – $500,000 for the winning duo and $250,000 for an animal charity. The Pack is hosted by Gold Medalist skier Lindsey Vonn and her dog Lucy.’
Tell me that doesn’t look like top notch entertainment! 2020 is lookin’ up….
The Pack hits Amazon Prime Video on November 20.
