Before I got my gig at S+T, I edited wedding videos for a living. For ten years, I watched strangers tie the knot in a million different ways and let me tell you, I have seen a real assortment of wedding dresses in my time. We’ve all got different taste when it comes to fashion stuff, but boy oh boy have I seen some epic dooooooozys – and some real goodies too. From barely-there slips to bright red numbers to rockin’ pant suits to the full 80’s meringue, every bride’s idea of the perfect wedding threads are, as Kath and Kim would say, different. Unusual. Noice.
So you can bet your sweet arse that as soon as I got wind of the fact that
Rebecca Pearson Mandy Moore got hitched a few of days ago, the wedding tragic in me was frothing to see her dress.
And I reckon she looked amazeballs in her pink frock from Rodarte.
MM left no doubt that pink is her shade of choice, because it was EVERYWHERE. Shoes, veil, make up, flowers – it was a blush-toned extravaganza.
Mandy and her new husbo, musician Taylor Goldsmith, held the intimate ceremony at sunset in the backyard of their LA home in front of 50 guests, which included her TV husband, Milo Ventimiglia, and the rest of the This Is Us gang. A guest told E! that there were lots of food stations set up around the back yard for guests to stuff their gorgeous faces at, as well as a “whiskey station, lots of wine and 12 different kinds of cake.” Heaven.
Later in the night, Mandy ditched her pink gown for a gorgeous black number and headed to The Fig House in L.A to continue the celebrations.
Aussie actress Tammin Sursok told us all about her gorgeous wedding in Italy when she sat down for a chat with Monts. Listen below and subscribe to our pod for more here.
