Kate Ritchie’s Bliss Balls

These babies are Kate Ritchie’s go-to’s, she often makes them to take to work for her team, what a good eggs she is. She has shared the recipe so now you too can make Kate’s Bliss Balls, and trust us, these are so good, you’ll be making these all the time…but they may not quite may it into work!


What you’ll need:

I cup dried fruit (I used dates and figs soaked in water for 10 mins)

1 cup raw nuts (mostly walnuts and leftover macadamias)

1/3 cup coconut oil

1/3 cup shredded coconut

1/3 cup rolled oats

2-3 teaspoons of cacao powder


What to do:

Process together, roll into balls and cover in coconut and pistachios.

    Great recipe! Although nix the dried fruit it’s crazy high in sugar and takes away from the healthiness of the recipe!

    That’s actually not true. Fruits in moderation are really good for you, even dates which are the highest in simple sugars. Fruits, grains & veggies all have fructose and glucose (simple sugars). You can’t take one component out of a food & say it’s bad & not
    to eat it. EVERY fruit & veggie have some bad components & some good
    components to them, but the Creator made them so that we would eat the whole
    food & it would be good for us. All fruit has fiber, which lowers the G.I.,
    and is good to eat IN MODERATION. A good thing about dates in particular is that they check the growth of
    pathological organisms & help the growth of friendly bacteria in the
    intestines, so it’s just one example of how each food is good for us in different ways. What’s bad for us is not foods (unless they’re obviously poisonous)
    but foods that have been altered by man (like REFINED sugar).
