What art is good for a kids room?

Obviously art is a personal choice and it’s no different when selecting for kids rooms, personally I pick artwork that will grow with my kids not things that they will grow out of.  I like to think that as teenagers my kids will still appreciate the art on their walls. Let me give you some examples that will stand the test of time because they’re so great!
Little Land of Pia – One off collaged and screen-printed art works on paper created by the talented Pia.  These are certain to inspire the imaginations of your little people.

Then there are options like these from the talented girls at Pony Rider.  These very clever wall dots are reusable and removable and the kids love them.

There are more art options about but that is a good place to start. And of course, many other options for making kids room art; wallpaper, animal heads, vintage toys, blackboard walls, bunting, creative storage solutions, postcards, fabric, lamps etc…
Minnie (my 5 year old) has a fascination with Kewpie dolls she has 5 already!  I have to admit though combined with her art and various other animal heads and flamingo’s in cages (sounds crazy I know) the room is quite driven by art and imagination.

This room has a bit of everything…

As always be bold, be brave and just start adding things to the walls and the room.  Too much is never enough for kids rooms……
