The actress got the knack for renovating in her early 20’s and renovated many homes. “I’ve renovated apartments, lofts, a log cabin in Montana—just tons and tons of places. I’m constantly ripping pages out of magazines in search of inspiration. I’ve found ideas everywhere, from a friend’s kitchen to a hotel lobby,” tells Meg.
Her latest home is her ‘Martha’s Vineyard’ haven. The actress was looking for a refuge out of the spotlight with her family and was drawn to a beach house along the northern Atlantic. “The light in that part of the country is the most beautiful light ever. It’s situated on a small rise and surrounded by water. The sun rises over a shallow bay on one side of the house and sets over a deep harbor on the other. And then the moon comes up over the bay.”
Meg decorated the place with help from interior designer New York, Marsha Russell. Check out the amazing results…
