Jennifer Lopez just released this whopping video a few days ago…and it’s all forms of empowering. Although the title, Ain’t Your Mama, doesn’t tell us much of a story the film clip will no doubt help to make this song a true anthem. The video is inspired by Hillary Clinton’s most memorable speech way back when she was the first lady in 1995.

“Human rights are women’s rights and women’s rights are human rights once and for all.”

Girl power is being thrown out to the masses by almost every high profile powerful woman in the world and sometimes it sticks…and sometimes it doesn’t.

I’m here to tell you, this one sticks. When Jenny from the block talks – the world listens.

The video is a trip through time showing Jen playing different exploited women who are standing up for their rights at home and in the workplace. Not only does it include quotes from Hillary Clinton it also includes samples from Patricia Arquette’s 2015 Oscar speech and Gloria Steinem’s 1971 women’s revolution speech.

I love it. Inspiration like this is just what we need to make us feel like we can all make a difference. Ask the questions, demand the answers and accept nothing less than what we as human beings deserve.

JLo we heart you – you hot mama, you!
