If you’re having a baby in 2018…you need to know about this

When you are faced with the responsibility of naming a human, the light hearted ‘I like that name’ convo becomes a little heavier. After all, it’s their name for the REST OF THEIR LIVES. Little dramatic, maybe…but it’s still no easy feat.

I have three boys and I’m not kidding when I say we struggled to name all three of them. It wasn’t until a few weeks before they were due that my husband and I were able to narrow it down to three names and even then we  STILL weren’t sure if we loved anything enough. I’ve heard many people say, ‘you have a baby in there for 9 months and you still don’t know what name you want to use?’ – but it’s HARD! Like, real HARD. I basically relied on the Show+Tell community to name my third kid, Mack. And, they did good.

Even though I’m done having kids (thank the lord), I will never tire of talking about baby names. Especially the ones on the rise. Here are some of the key players for 2018.
