Just when we thought we knew everything there was to know about one of our fave beauty products, we come across a little gem of wisdom that makes us love it even more. Of course, I’m talking about dry shampoo. What did we even do without it? The powdery goodness is up there as one of the best inventions since the telephone and Netflix and all you need to take it’s efficiency up a notch is a brush, a hairdryer and your fave bottle of dry shampers.
Here’s the trick –
– Spray your dry shampoo into your roots and give it a minute or so to work it’s magic.
– Grab your hairdryer and give your roots a 30 second blast. If your hair can take it, brush through as you’re drying to disperse it evenly, but if you’re like me and hair brushes are your nemesis, just focus on blasting those roots.
Here’s the magic, flat-haired friends – the heat from the hair dryer literally ‘bakes’ the dry shampoo into your locks, resulting in more volume in the root area. If used with your handy hair brush, it also spreads it evenly across your entire mane, resulting in longer-lasting, oil-soaking goodness. That’s at least an extra ten minutes of snooze time.
