I’m a total spray tan junkie. I don’t need a special occasion to book an appointment with my fab spray tan lady…just whenever I need a pick me up. A post holiday glow (without the holiday) leaves me feeling a million bucks. My one big dilemma as I head in for my fake tan goodness is what to wear? The amount of clothes I have ruined in pursuit of the perfect tan would make anyone cringe. However if I wear my old trackies they create havoc with my new tan. The struggle is real.
Enter the genius idea of 24-year-old Brisbane businesswoman Jade Castle. Jade got an idea to create stylish and functional kaftans for post fake tanning, after freelancing as a spray tanner and watching woman struggle with what clothes to wear. “My clients were turning up in leggings, jeans, tight clothes or just daggy clothes. It was then that I came up with the idea to design a fashionable, functional garment to wear to ensure a flawless tan to develop.”
The loose fitting solution to a perfect tan is made with material that’s soft, smooth and lightweight to ensure your tan stays in place, but with appropriate enough cover that you’re not doing a nudie run to your car. As spray tan fanatics at Show + Tell – we LOVE!
Jade has also developed jumpsuits, robes and kimonos and appeared on Shark Tank the other week, asking for investments into her business Kaf.tanned, which is currently just sold in salons and through her website. Jade’s company caught the attention of Steve Baxter, who offered her $50,000 for a 25 per cent stake as well as a $100,000 loan if it was later needed.
The kaftans are super cute and reasonably priced at $30-$60. We love to support a lady with a brilliant idea and this one screams take our money!
This not a sponsored post we just think it is a FAB idea. To buy Jade’s kaftans/jumpsuits check out her website here.
