Choosing a name for someone you haven’t met or only just met can be hard work! It’s pretty daunting to think your mini-human will be stuck with this moniker for life. I agonised the entire pregnancy over what to name my first daughter, only deciding on Olive in the moments just after I met her. I was pretty pleased with my choice – a bit different but not too crazy, easy for her mates at school to pronounce and went perfectly with her last name. However she has much different ideas and as a 7-years-old is furious with me that I have named her after a food that she absolutely HATES.
Luckily my second daughter Willa seems pretty okay with her name so far. When I was pregnant with both my girls I devoured any list of baby names. Hopefully this one of the top baby names from around the world will give you a bit of inspo.
