Right now, we’re living in a time where the health and wellness options at our disposal seem almost limitless. I’m not sure about you, but I’ve also NEVER been more confused around what the best way to live a ‘healthy’ life is.
Every decade or so, there’s a new fad; a new way of living for optimal health that promises to give you the body of your dreams, glowing skin, an abundance of energy and best of all, longevity. The past decade’s flavour has definitely leant in the direction of more naturally-derived ‘wellness’, which feels like a fancy re-branding of what was once labelled ‘hippy’… but way more intense.
While I absolutely believe that so many of our lives could be improved by adopting a few more natural options and limiting the processed and chemical-laden stuff, I also find myself questioning if the entire industry has gone too far. Does it always need to be an all-or-nothing approach and… are the products we’re being sold in that constant quest for wellness actually be a bit of a scam? Worse yet – could it be making us sick?
