Instagram’s new change is gonna ruin your snooping!

One of my fave hobbies of all time is snooping on Instagram. I know, it’s a little tragic and kinda creepy but it’s also a very satisfying way to kill time in life’s dull moments.

Checking the Activity tab (the love heart icon at the bottom of your feed) and hitting the ‘Following’ tab shows what peeps you’re following have been liking and commenting on is also good times; again, a little stalker-ish, but it can open up a whole new world of accounts you never knew about. You know how it works – and don’t even pretend like you don’t… your mate Melanie liked or commented on a post, you click on it to see what it’s all about and before you know it, you’ve found a page dedicated to vintage doilies that really floats your boat. Or, you know, you find yourselves balls deep in Michelle’s cousin’s ex-wife’s Hawaiian holiday snaps and now you’re planning your own girls’ trip.

HOWEVER. Word on the street is that Insta are getting rid of this glorious feature so you can no longer see the likes, comments and general activity of the accounts you’re following, which means you’ll only be able to see your own boring notifications. BOO!!!

Apparently Instagram have removed the feature from many users’ apps over the last couple of months in the ‘testing phase’ so it’s probs a good idea to fill up on your snooping before it becomes a permanent change. Devo.
