Celebrating women who smash the glass ceiling

As someone prone to getting pretty flat from time to time, I often find myself looking for inspiration from other women to perk me up a little. Whether it be observing friends kicking incredible career goals or mothers raising delicious children, I find that watching and listening to other women succeed stirs something inside me to want the same for myself.

Hearing the stories of women who have outsmarted the naysayers, smashed through massive roadblocks and survived tragedies that could very well have brought them to their knees fills my skin with goosebumps every time.

The beautiful thing about many successful women is their openness in sharing their stories and advice with others. There is a special connectedness amongst women that comes with the realization that there is room for all of us to thrive. Sharing our experiences and encouraging success in our fellow women ensures we pave the way for our daughters, nieces and all young women of the future. Happy International Women’s Day!
