Barbie, you’ve done good.
This new advertisement for the much-loved doll of little girls and boys everywhere has us high-fiving each other here at Show+Tell.
More widely known for her fashion accessories than her love of science, Barbie seems to have taken a new direction in showing the importance imagination plays in developing little girl’s confidence to pursue their dreams in any field they wish.
Evelyn Mazzocco, General Manager of Barbie, told Adweek, “The ongoing initiative is designed to remind today’s parents that through the power of imagination, Barbie allows girls to explore their limitless potential.”
The ad is so great, not only because it’s a step in the right direction for the company, but it’s a step in the right direction for young girls everywhere.
