There is nothing better that being recommended a new TV show where you can ignore your kids, partner, work and life for a while and just love the hell out of it! A night spent in on the weekend watching a new show and eating ice cream and anything else you can get your mitts on is a weekend well spent in my opinion. I have had such a run of good luck with shows lately that I feel compelled to share the love.
Here are my absolute faves that I know you will love or you can have your money back. Not really, don’t be tight.
It’s a little embarrassing to tell you how quickly I watched this one. But it’s that good. It’s a Wall Street drama centered around hedge fund billionaire Bobby Axelrod (played by Damian Lewis from Homeland!) and the US Attorney (played by the brilliant Paul Giamatti) who wants to bring him down. The only thing is that the the US Attorney’s wife works for Bobby…here in lies the drama, well, some of it at least, there is bucketloads more. You will love.

Don’t let the name throw you off, it’s not a horror series. It’s a drama/mystery written and produced by Corinne Brinkerhoff (The Good Wife) that will keep you guessing right to the end. I am half way through and can’t wait to get home to keep watching (don’t tell me to get a life, you watch and wait).
It’s centers around the hunt for a Boston serial killer known only as “the silver bell killer” who becomes connected with a pretty disfunctional and extremely wealthy Boston family. It soon becomes pretty clear that someone in this well-to-do family is in fact a serial killer, but who??!! I bet you want to know don’t you?!

The Night Manager
This one has been doing the rounds for a few months and had me hooked from the very start. It stars Hugh Laurie (from House) and Tom Hiddleston, yep, Tay Tay’s new man. It’s a crime drama that that follows former British soldier Jonathan Pine (Mr Swift) who is recruited to infiltrate the inner circle of billionaire entrepreneur Richard Roper (Hugh Laurie) and bring to life evidence of an alliance he has ministered between the intelligence community and the secret arms trade. There are lots of twists and turns in this one – you don’t want to miss it.
Perve away here:
This is a Netflix-original drama/thriller starring blast from the past Winona Ryder as a single mum of 12 year-old Will, Joyce. When Will goes missing fro their homewtown in Indiana Joyce’s world is thrown upside-down in more ways than you may think. As an investigation begins to find little Will, they unravel a series of extraordinary mysteries involving secret government experiments, unnerving supernatural forces, and a very unusual little girl.
Take a gander:
Enjoy! We hope you love…and can get back to your normal life sooner or later.
