Growing up as a child of Italian migrant parents, pasta is one of my main food groups. I cook HEAPS of it, partly because it’s one of the only things my kids will eat and partly because it’s just so freakin’ yum!
Water that boils over onto the stove top is annoying to say the least. This happens to me ALL THE TIME because I’m easily distracted, so the minute I turn my back on that pot, I hear the “ssssssss” sound of the water hitting the flames of the hotplate below. Then I have to clean it, and that is REALLY annoying.
If this happens to you too, try this hack. It’s the simplest thing ever and will save you the dreaded water overflow clean up. Genius!
