This is one of the books that you devour in a matter of days. Having two boys, reading is usually only something that happens on holidays, but when I stared Girl On The Train, I made a conscious effort to get into bed early so I could binge read it. I’m usually way to smashed at the end of a day to pick up a book and instead sit like a stunned zombie watching shows like Beverly Hills Housewives so my brain can stop working. But I gave up my beloved reality trash to read this book and have zero regrets.
I have been impatiently waiting for the movie to be made because it will be AWESOME. When I heard Emily Blunt is playing the main character ‘Rachel’ who is a broken-hearted alcoholic, I knew it would be a winner winner chicken dinner. Justin Theroux (Jen Aniston’s hub) plays Rachel’s ex in the flick too. Cast is top notch and the story line is fab, so I will actually leave the comfort of my own couch and go to the cinema to watch this (that is a big deal for me).
If you haven’t read the book yet, get cracking before you see the flick.
