Last week supermodel Naomi Campbell revealed she is in negotiations to create her own fashion collection. There is no doubt the supermodel knows a thing or two about what looks good on women. Naomi says there ‘are several lines under discussion’ which include accessories, lingerie and swimwear. Watch this space peeps.
In the meantime, let’s take a look at other celebs who have turned their hand to fashion designing, and very successful fashion designing at that….
Mary–Kate and Ashley Olsen – The Row
These girls don’t seem to put a foot wrong when it comes to their clothing and accessory range. Not only have the industry’s most famous twins taken home the coveted CFDA Award for Accessories Designer of the Year, but celebs are often papped wearing their hand bags around town.

Nicole Richie – House of Harlow and Winter Kate
I can’t get enough of Nicole’s lines. Her clothes are easy to wear and affordable – something many celebrity lines are not! Nicole was born surrounded by entertainers and designers, so it’s no wonder she’s always had an eye for fashion.
Nicole’s designs are available globally at high-end department and specialty stores and online here – Asos also stock Nicole’s labels.
Kate Moss for Topshop
This year Kate Moss reprised her role as designer for high street chain Topshop, and Kate has yet again delivered on expectations. As always, Kate shows why she is considered a fashion icon around the world with a stunning new range. “I am very excited to create a new collection that bears my name. It feels like I’m back home working with Topshop.”
Victoria Beckham – VB Designs
Does this woman ever get it wrong? Victoria Beckham has emerged as a fashion industry force to be reckoned with. Her designs are known for flattering the female form and often seen on celebs at red carpet events. It’s little wonder why…

Jessica Simpson – Jessica Simpson Collection
The singer is nothing short of a fashion empire, a billion dollar empire at that. Many call her fashion’s ‘accidental mogul’. She has been designing for global department stores since 1999. The star’s clothing, handbag and shoe lines are designed for the ‘everyday woman’ and are fashion forward and accessible.
