A good fake tan can make you feel like a million bucks. It gives you that healthy glow that we USED to get from sitting out in the sun, but BOO to that because, you know, skin cancer is a bitch.
While fake tan formulas have seriously improved from the oompa loompa orange glow of their first inception, NOTHING ruins a fake tan like the tell-tale signs of ‘fake tan hands.’ Getting that fake tan down your wrists and onto your hands without streaks and ‘grabbing’ is a nightmare and seeing as your hands are on display 24/7, there’s no hiding it.
This video shows a great way of getting lovely bronzed hands without the streak…
I’m not so convinced on the second hand where she uses the washable tan because using soap when you wash your hands after going to the toilet is kinda necessary, but I get where she’s going with it. A dense make up brush like a kabuki to blend the tan down the wrists and into the hands without getting it all over your palms is also a goodie. You can give these techniques a try for all those other stubborn areas like feet, knees and elbows and remember – EXFOLIATE and moisturise in the days leading up and moisturise like a demon in the days AFTER your tan has settled to help with longevity.
