Ever wondered how a big screen SEX SCENE is made?

The first big sex scene I remember seeing in a movie was in 1987’s Fatal Attraction with Glenn Close and Michael Douglas. It was all fast-paced, running water, humping-on-the-kitchen-sink action and I remember thinking, “Oh my GOD, they’re really DOING IT!” I mean, how could they not be? It all looked so passionate, so…real.

Still to this day, when I see a really good and authentic sex scene, where the actors have great chemistry and watching on your TV screen at home is enough to give you that lovin’ feeling, I can’t believe they don’t feel something. How can two adults be grinding up on each other, often with some serious pelvic-pumping action, and not feel anything? How can they not get, well, massively turned on?

Then I saw this. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at a sex scene from Jessica Alba’s new film Stretch, between actors Patrick Wilson and Brooklyn Decker. We’ll let it speak for itself, but WHO KNEW you could buy sweat in a can??

Sorta kills the vibe, doesn’t it? This has completely ruined how I view sex scenes, turning what was once totally hot and sexy into something awkward and staged. Dang! I’ll never look at a sex scene the same again….

What is your all-time favourite movie sex scene?
