This post is NOT sponsored by Kleenex, but I suggest you go and grab a tissue. Or ten.
Trenton and Lindsay Cochran are a couple of kids we can all learn from. Ten-year-old Lindsay has been in a wheelchair since she was two as a result of a condition called Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Her twelve-year-old brother, Trenton, is her biggest supporter, best friend and advocate. They are a team in the truest sense of the world, bonded by a deep love and understanding of each other that is truly beyond their years.
Sometimes we forget that children can be our greatest teachers. I encourage you to sit down and watch this incredibly moving and powerful video with your own children, and if they’re anything like mine, FORCE them to give each other a hug afterwards.
What lessons have your children taught you?
