Entertainment, What's On Our Mind

Isn’t everything better when we just support each other?

I have some fabulous women in my world and I adore them. They have lifted me up through heartbreak and becoming a single mum. They are also there when I want to talk trashy TV or moan about how my kids are driving me crazy, again. They listen without judgement and provide a truly safe place for me in the world.

Some of these incredible women are the Show+Tell team. I could not imagine a more supportive and amazing group of chicks to work with, and at the end of the day I know they are always on my side. I feel incredibly lucky.

Today Sophie Monk said that it’s ‘rare’ to find encouraging and supporting female co-workers in the entertainment industry and it has made her cautious of the jobs she accepts.

It’s Sophie’s fab new friendship with X-factor co-host Kelly Osbourne that has restored her faith in finding friends at work. “Kelly is amazing, she is so supportive,” Sophie said. “I am happy for her if she gets something and she is happy for me.”

Last November Kelly also shared the love telling her fans online: ‘”You guys have no idea how much I love working w/ Sophie Monk. I think we are in love!”.

We love this new bestie pair!  As women we have enough battles to fight, with kids and work, relationships and workplace equality, so we’re better off being on the same team.

Here are some other remarkable women we have had On The Couch talking about the amazing women they found and formed friendships with through work:
